Thank you for the reply. The oncologist has decided to put my mom on carboplatin and taxol instead. Her second round starts next week. She is stage 4 now. They have seen a couple of spots on her lungs as well and in some lymph nodes. Just wondering if anyone out there knows of anyone my moms age.(70 in Nov.) having the same type of problem. Any advice on alternative methods in combo with the chemo.? Would love to hear from any survivors. The visiting nurses assoc. just came to pay her a visit and are already talking about looking in hospice. I (we) are not ready to give up yet. Thank you, Jill E.
