This is my second go at this. You do not need to be from Texas for the Trial and the actually reimburse some of your cost to get there and back. EVERYTHING is done in one day and you are through late afternoon. My Patient Coordinator who you should call her name is Cleo. Call MD Anderson and ask for the Leukemis Dept and ask them to speak to someone (Cleo) about joining the pegasys trial. You are sent home with 6 mos. supply of free Pegasys and you dont need to go back until 6 mos. time. Your blood will be monitored by your own Dr. of choosing and they fax it to MDA every 2 weeks and after 2 mos. if all goes well every 4 weeks.
