Find a partner physician who is willing to think outside the box.
I was sent home to die after an 8.5 hour Whipple for PC. "Chemo is out, because you have mets in both lungs. You have 4 months to 1-year to enjoy your wife of 20+ years. I'll pray for you said the ONC." That was about 11 months ago.
I found a MD who also understands CAM; ND and Homeopathic meds. We became partners. It is 10-months later and we have not turned things around, but have held our own, with good quality of life and hope for the future.
