Dave - It has been its been 7 months since the end of my radiation treatment and yes my taste had come back about 60%. I was fortunate in that I only had radiation on one side of my neck, the taste buds on the opposite side survived. However I have talke to people that have had treatment on both sides and they eventually recovered some taste. Not being able to taste food was very difficult, but I did lose about 30 pounds which was a good thing.
