As I read the posts tonight, I see several about supplements...especially particular brands. My husband was on Avastin, an angiogenesis, now on Erbitux, a monoclonal antibody therapy. Our oncologist at U of Colorado asked us to use supplements "prudently" as the antioxidents contained in pills...and foods...can have a negative effect on Avastin and possibly work against it. The information on how it works as shown on the drug company CD leads me to believe there is a reason for his warning.

As much as I would like to hear of magic pills, it is my instinct that we should all consult our doctors before we simply start taking someone's $100 magic pills, liquids or powders.

I know all cancers are different and vary from individual to individual, as do our reactions to the "cures". I am sure that there are people who get wonderful results, in fact, I have a good friend who brought his CEA down and blood up with Raspberry Gold...but too much of a good thing, especially when people are making big bucks from selling worry me. More over, which one do we choose? I know people selling at least six different brands.

Any independent research will be appreciated.

Nikki
