I have written here before, under Concerned mom in the Leukemia section (symptoms listed there), it was asked what my sons last blood work stated and I have some questions. This was when he was tested for Celiac disease 04/24/06. The doctor said that everything was fine. I requested a copy to be mailed to me a week ago to the new town I live in and this is what some of the test results said:
Eosinophils % 4.1 flagged High
Sed Rate (ESR) 16 also flagged High
HLA-B27 was positive 258 and the doctor wrote on the side that rises in multiple myeloma, uncommon younger that 40 years old
Some of the other ones on his CBC with Auto Diff were on the high end of the normal range. I am very concerned now because of what these test showed and the fact that nothing was followed up especially with all of the symptoms he has presented with. Can anyone help me with this. Should I be concerned or is that part okay at his age (10 yrs old)? The others that were on the hight end were his WBC, RBC, MCHC, Hemoglobin. Thank You
