Husband diagnosed with HCC, several tumors, also advanced Cirrhosis, no spread to other organs at this time. Found not to be eligible for transplant (too many tumors) nor transphere. Oncologists feels chemo would not be succesful and would reduce quality of life. Given non-specific short time-frame for life. Referred to an oncogolist that also practies alternative-herbal medicines and acupuncture as means of improving quality of life as modern medicines has no more options. We are patients at University of Cincinnati (Dr. Steve Rudich).
Has anyone experienced any positive results with herbal or alternative methods of treatment?
