Dear Karen, I'm so glad that he is at peace and is ready. Some people aren't, and my dad isn't ready to go quite yet. He wants to live, and we have been ministering to him the word of God and what it says about not going if you aren't satisfied with your life. But my sister told me the other day that my dad has been saying things like-"I won't be around to bug you much longer" to my mom. I think he is saying it to get a little attention from her. He has lost 12 pounds in 2 weeks. He only eats soup, but doesn't want the meat thats in it. I wish that I lived closer than I do. I am thinking of taking a leave of absence from work to go and be with my mom and dad. I have surgery on the 9th of May. After I'm better, I will go visit. My mom has said that she is lonely, especially at night when my dad is asleep. My younger sister is suppose to go and spend the night with her. She will like that alot.
