I do not know if this is of any help but it may help your husband for a short time. There is a newer drug out called Tarceva that is being used for non small cell lung cancer and pancreatic cancer. If you search this site under tarceva you will find some discussions about it when used for patients with advanced lung cancer and from what I have read, it is for that case as well as advanced and inoperable pancreatic cancer. My mom is starting it next week.
