I read a lot of articles on the web about mm, my mother is 64, we found out in May 04 that she had this type of cancer. To this date she has not experience any type of pain? I am confused because everything that I read talks about back pain, I question if this is actually mm. She had a skeletal CT and bone biop along with several blood test(this is when they "found the mm"). She also has Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy, diabetes, and high blood pressure. She can't keep anything down, has loose stools, and for the last 4months has had 8units of blood. In 2004 she was told to have Stage 1-Type A MM. I am trying to understand all of this but things are so cloudy. Can you give some insight?
