Hi Everyone,
My mother has cancer of the esophagus. We found out about 2 weeks ago. Her doctors have her going through tests to see if see can have surgery. I am very concerned. She is 75 years old and has copd. She is not in great health. I don't see how she can survive this kind of surgery. If ANYBODY has any information to help please let me know. Her tumor is 2- 3 centimeters and is in the lower part of her esophagus. If anybody can recommend the best place for treatment I would be very grateful. My mother is my best friend and I do not want to lose her or see her suffer. Thank you very much, Patty5
