I am writing because I am a big fan of your health-related articles. I'm reading an article of yours on Kids' Health in Parenting Magazine, and I thought I would reach out to see if you have any interest in writing about financial planning for a child/family member with disabilities.
Many parents set up trust funds for their disabled child thinking the child will be provided for when they're gone - unfortunately, the wrong type of trust fund will disqualify a child from receiveing Medicaid, or will be used to pay back government aid.
There is a huge audience for this topic - more than 12 million American children suffer some form of disabilities; parents need to know how to provide for these children for the rest of their lives.
