My husband is having a hard time swallowing. He had chemo and radiation in the spring '06. Then in the Fall of '06, surgeon performed a biopsy. Breathing tube scratched the back of his throat, knocked a cap out and the area where the biopsy was performed has not healed 100%.
After complaining to the chemo dr., he suggested that the surgeon do a dilation of his throat this coming Monday (it is Friday 5pm now).
Did anyone have a dilation of their throat and can you enlighten us?
