I need some advise on Granulosa Cell tumor. I went to the emergency room the day after Christmas due to severe abdominal pain. The ct scan showed a large mass on my right side abdomen. I have no ovary or tube there, I lost it in 1998. They did an exploratory laparotmy and found a 4 x 6 mass full of blood clots. The doctor does not know where this came from?? They did a pathology on a tumor they removed from my right side upper abdomen wall, it was a granulosa cell tumor, she is sending me to an oncologist in Baltimore. I have tried to read about these but all stories are different. Can anyone tell me about this tumor? or what the blood clots could have come from if you have had a similar situation.
