Does anyone have any suggestions what I can give my husband to eat?
He is 72 with colon cancer that has metastasised to liver, and is being treated with FOLFOX. His diet should be low fibre and low residue. I know he should not have milk (leaves residue), animal fat, wholegrain/what anything, pulses, pork, any though meat, any fruit or vegetables other than carrots and peeled potatoes and some canned fruits. He CAN have yogurt, chicken, some fish, clear soup (?) etc, plain biscuits (I'm English so that means cookies!).
I can't believe it is good for him to have such a restricted diet. Does anyone know of any other vegetable that he could possibly eat, or any interesting menus that don't involve vegetables?
