SO sorry to hear this news..I am in the sme Boat.  My dog, Daisy ws diagnosed with a 3/4inch tumor in her bladder 12/18/06 and I am taking aholistic approach (since 12/22 she seems to be doing better) go to:

google.com and search for Dr. Budwig..she lived to ve 95 yrs old who was a biochemist 6 nobel prize winner saving many lives with the cottage cheese and flaxoil combination..many testimonials.  I have not put daisy on the piroxicam yet to see if it shrinks this tumor..I am waiting until Feb for her next ultrasound.  She still takes a long time to urinate, but this mix may save her and et rid of this tumor..I don't want my dog to suffer!!!I  In addition to this mix I feed her broccoli with som very smal amount of brown rice with chicen broth, 1/2 patty f raw lamb (me vitamins in raw meat) and just started mixing in a multiviitmin with extra vitamin C..to boost the immune system.

I wish you the best of luck..AT least ou got to the 12 month mark..maybe with my suggestion longer..Now with this mix I give this to her 3 times a day, sometimes 4 times..I ay increase it.  THEY KNOW you are trying to help them to.  I talk to Daisy and tell her it will make her tummy feel better. She looks forward to it.I even have My dog Missi on it once a day for her arthritus..Check out and all the best.
