I found this very useful site when my husband, age 55, was diagnoised with stomach cancer a week ago by endoscopy.
The first one was " susppicious for malignancy"
The 2nd one was " poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma with signet-ring cell feature"
CAT scan show thickening of stomach wall. Other than that, other organs were ok.
There is no symptoms from the stomach. He feel good and healthy.
They can only tell the stage at the surgery? He like to have a endoscopy ultrasound done b4 the surgery. How accurate is it?
My questions are:
1) What is the worst stage I can expect?
2) What is the symptoms when u or ur love one was diagnoised? What was the stage when surgery was performed.
I am really scary and like to learn from your experience. I really appreciated if you can sharing experience with us. Thank you very much.
