I was also curious how your Efudex treatments were going. I just had my first treatment on Monday and I will continue once a week for 9 more weeks.
I had a pap last May and since then, I've had 4 biopsies, cryo, leep, and a cervical/vaginal ressection. This Efudex treatment is the last thing my Dr. knows to do. He won't do a hyst. because the abnormal cells have moved to the vaginal walls. He will refer me to an oncologist if this treatment fails. I'm not getting my hopes up too high considering he keeps reassuring me that the treatments ususally work. I keep getting let down. It's hard for anyone in my life to understand becauses this isn't a common thing.
I'm hoping and praying the Efudex works. So far, it hasn't been so bad. I felt bad for 2 days, but today i'm feeling ok.
I'd like to hear from others who have had the treatment already or who are further along in the treament.
