My husband has been on lupron injections since 2003--his last psa was0.06 however has gainedabout 30 lbs mostley in abdoman--with every injection he gains more weight--he also has blood clots in leg-as of today,he has starteda weight loss program with St.Joseph Health Management-my concer is the diet itself : 6 shakes-1 entree-8 glasses of water-2vitamins-1 potassium pill----he also takes meds for blood pressure,and cumadin for clots----the program he is on is allowing 800 cal. a day--he will be medically supervised---my concern is will this strict diet cause more health problems or make his psa go up..Does anyone have any advise or has anyone experienced this situation.Thank you Rose
