I don't know what I should do.
For well over a month now I've had occasional (sometimes daily, sometimes several times daily, sometimes closer to weekly) bleeding from my throat. I can notice it when I lean my head forward and clear my throat. It is usually accompanied by a minor, although occasionally more painful but still not severly painful, sore throat.
Recently I saw an ENT about this and he looked in my throat with his mirror. He said my throat looked good and that most likely it was dryness/weather-related (we are in the midst of some very cold and dry weather here in MN).
I have never experienced a bleeding throat from dry weather before and have lived in MN my whole life. Should I still be concerned about this? Should I see a different ENT or wait a while? How reliable or unreliable is visual inspection with a mirror in this case?
Thanks for any comments.
