My dearest friend was diagnosed with NSLC 3 months ago.  At that

time there was one 6 cm sized tumor in one lung, multiple lesions in the

other, spots on her liver and brain.  Chemo was begun a week later

which lasted a few weeks. She stopped chemo after having some seizures and feeling so miserable.  A few weeks later she fell and a

new scan showed multiple brain lesions (too many to count).  She started

radiation a few weeks ago but became so sick she was unable to complete more than 7 or 8 treatments.  She is now in the hospital

after falling again.  She is no longer herself and is great physical

pain.   How much longer could she survive?  I feel her treatments

are prolonging her suffering.  Help...
