Subject: SMALL CELL CARCINOMA
Date: 02/22/2007
i am curious as to whether or not anyone has had any positive treatment (alternative options) for small cell carcinoma of the lung.  my mother was recently diagnosed and, although it is relatively early, it is still an aggressive disease.  her doctor told her it responds well to treatment, so we are positive there, but i worry about her health during chemotherapy.i watched my father die with cancer less than two years ago, although the treatment is really what killed him.  i do not want to see my mother go through that brutal of a regimen if there are other options available
