I like the Life Force better

I too took the Reliv for a few years. I did get results with energy and my allergies improved. After a few years though, it got harder to take. Someone told me about Life Force, and thats how I found out that Reliv is actually full of synthetics, which I didnt know. I read the can, and they were right, the vitamins are synthetic. The Body Balance is all natural. I have gotten the same results with the Life Force Body Balance, and find it MUCH easier to take. Its also cheaper. And I like that it is all natural. Why dont you try both and judge for yourself. Everybody is different, one might work better for you than the other.

Why is one so much better than the other?

After reading so many of the messages here on the site. I wan to know why more people do not try natural medicine. When we first started this country we thrived on natural medicine. We learned scurvy could be cured just by eating lemons or oranges, many illnesses could be combated with penicillian which is nothing more than mold, and we stress healthy eating and living. If conventional medicines are not doing anything but slowing or pacifying an illness. Why not use a different source? What are we afraid of? Plus most natural venture do not result in the side effects, like chemo! Ask me about what chemo really does to your body. I had a grandma who had cancer. She tried all the conventional medicines and nothing worked. Then she was introduced to Shark cartilege. In a few months the cancer was gone! Literal holes were left where the cancer was! But!, because the doctors thought they knew everything they told her to stop taking it. The cancer came back within 3 months and she was dead before the year was out. All I am saying is that although Dr.'s have a great gift, it is not the only way. As a country who is ONLY 39th in medical application, what have you got to lose?

Widespread Metastatic Melanoma

My 59 yr old daddy has Metastatic Melanoma. After initial mole removal from shoulder in April, followed by nodular tumor removal in June, PET and CT showed cancer had moved to the liver and nowhere else. After three full cycles of chemo, (7hrs a day four days a week with 21 day break) new PET/CT showed widespread to skin, blood, lymph and bones down the right side, one of the liver tumors the size of grapefruit with multiple other tumors in the liver. Not in brain yet. Yesterday the pain moved to the left side, so hospice suggests spread as well as a large tumor now growing in his armpit. We stopped chemo in October since he nearly died from it (sleeping 23 hrs a day, developed blood clot and lost too much weight) He is now with Hospice. They have him on 120 mg of morphine twice a day with subl. in between, Dexameta something or other, Lorazapam, and today Elavil was added. The melanomas are popping out all over his face and head, litterally eating him alive from the outside in, he's so sad and so tired of waiting for the relief of death. He's tired of the pills, its no wonder he isn't hungry, by the time he eats all the pills he's full. There has to be some alternative medicine we can try to help slow down the spread or kill the nodules. He's on oxygen at night which was helping to clear his mind and give him energy, but now that the pain is spreading he is getting weaker. I don't know how much time we have left, but I'm desperate for something natural to try. Please help me to help him....

Living With Breast Cancer

Just a word of encouragment to people with mets. I found out I had mets to liver and bones in June 2001. I went to CTCA and they gave me an
attitude of hope. Keep looking and trying different treatments. I also developed a lung mets in 2002. I have been on some type of chemo for 4 years. I do believe the help that the
naturopathic doctors gave me through supplements has help my body stay stronger to fight this diease. But hope is necessry and I must deal all the times with that negative thought pattern. I have been taking oral Xeloda and Femara since Aug 2003 and I saw my tumor mark drop and liver tumors shrink. In march 2003 I was so sick I came home on oxygen. Now I can volunteer some hours at a free health clinic. So don't give up--just give trying and searching for what is the right treatment for you. I praise CTCA for their approach, that you treat the whole person. Nutrition is important despite what local physicians say. If you can go to CTCA I believe it would be worth you time. I haven't bee back since Jan 2003 but I will always be thankful I went. Life is good so enjoy whatever days that God has granted. Love and laugh. Marie In NC

Naturopathy and Ovarian Cancer

I am a student at the University of California, Davis,
and I'm writing a research paper about the use of
naturopathic medicine for the prevention and
treatment of ovarian cancer.

If anyone would be interested in sharing their
experiences/thoughts with me about their use of
complementary medicine for cancer (any type of CAM
and any type of cancer is fine) I would greatly
appreciate it. It would be nice to have a personal
viewpoint rather than something out of a book, so
anything anyone would like to share would be a big
help. Thanks!

Prostate Cancer

I am 69 years old, recent blood test indicated a PSA of 17.5. I assume that indicates a strong probability of cancer. Since this reading about 3 weeks ago, I started an intense program of juice fasting, hydrotherapy, herbal therapy, exercise, hot and cold fomentation and partial vegetarian diet. Just yesterday I did another test to see if I was making headway, my PSA reading was 16.5. I am determined to follow a naturopathic approach to this cancer rather than the traditional invasive treatments that have all these bizarre side effects. Is there anyone out there who has tried this approach and had success? I would appreciate ant news or advice. Jay
