Pat you are such a caring person. I always love to get messages from you. Actually my husband is in the living room right now sleeping in the recliner. His surgery went well. The dr. said that all the margins around were clear and they got him put back together. The incision the dr. did is huge, but he is such a trooper. He was in the hospital for 12 days. I think they kept him longer than necessary because we had a 5 hour ride home. Right now he has a feeding tube which he only is hooked up to at night and during the day he tries to eat whatever will go down. He is very sore and weak but so glad to be home with the kids. I read some of these messages and I just want to shout out to everyone how well my husband has done. With what he started with to now is unbelievable. We both know that he still has recovery ahead and it's not over, but we keep saying the worst is. We always try to stay positive. The worst part of the hospital stay was not the pain for him or discomfort, but being away from our children. He is a great, wonderful dad and husband and we are lucky to have him. Sorry I rambled but I'm feeling happy to have him home. I hope your Mom has a better week this week. It must be so terrible to see her sick. I hope you have a good support system to help you. Continued prayers for you and your Mom and keep up the positive thoughts. Talk later.
