swollen foot

Hello everyone, there’s something that I need to know….My grandfather is suffering from liver cancer and he has gone through a chemotherapy session for about three weeks ago. His condition is better now as he is able to eat and urine without much difficulties. However, his feet are swollen and are getting worst day by day. All of us are worried about it and don’t know what causes it. Is it because he hardly move the feet or because of some other things?

Could be suffering from ascites. My wife has liver cancer - not primary - and experienced ascites with a swollen abdomen and swollen ankles. A low salt diet and medically prescribed dieuritics will help.
