RE: Is there any hope?

Hi,

Our Health Food store owner researches cancer continually -- he said he wife had advanced stomach cancer and he added supplements to her treatment which helped immensely. He said he had her stablized when she suddenly died of unusual complications that I'm not able to scientifically describe. He is giving us nutrition/supplement advice for my Dad who has pancreatic cancer. We are in Southern California, but wherever you are I would add a cancer nutiritonist to the mix. If you are in Southern California, I will be happy to let you know where he is so you can go in to talk about what he did for his wife.

Hi Jennifern,
I saw your message and my heart went out to you. My mom was diagnosed in October 2006 with Stage IV Colon Cancer. It was devastating since she has never been sick at all. I too was in constant search of hope and optimism, since all cases are different. I thought my mom was going to die real soon and I felt helpless in the situation. She started chemo in January, after a colon and liver resection in December and although the chemo is rough on her, I have hope that her situation is going to be different from others. I love my mom so much and I don't know what else to do right now. I am just trying to be the best daughter that I can be and letting God handle the rest. Yes, its hard but I know nothing is too hard for God. I pray that God will grant you the strength and peace that you need to continue as your Mother's caregiver. I also pray that His perfect will would be done in both of our situations. Be blessed and know that He is in control.

Thank you- I appreciate your prayers and sympathy. Sometimes it is hard to enjoy and embrace the day, when you don't know what is around the corner. How is it with all the medical knowledge existant in this word, there are so many people suffering. It is just not fair. My prayers are with you as well.
