There is an article titled "The Big C Question" that ran in our newspaper July 3, 2006...but it originated from The Philadelphia Inquirer. Maybe you can do a search and find this article. The intravenous vitamin C treatments do sound very encouraging in this article! You might also look for information on the Center for the Improvement of Human Functioning in Wichita, KS which is also mentioned in this article. Best of luck.

RE: intravenous vitamin c

Hi Sweetpea 839 I have a friend who is having fantastic luck with the Intravenous Vitamin C Treatments. He had prostrate cancer spread throughout his body including his bones. He was told in November 2006 by his oncologists that he would not survive to see Christmas. Today his oncologists are surprised and amazed at the regression showing on his latest CT scans and Xrays. He is feeling strong and healthy and painfree. The treatments are available through some Integrative Doctors and Naturopaths and probably through Homeopathic Doctors as well. That is the first place to look or if you'd like to send me a private message regarding your location I will check with my health care provider to see who they would recommend in your area.
The cost of the weekly treatments in this area is $125.00 and they take about two and a half to three hours.

Hope this is helpful

Please check your private messages. I have been attempting to post some information regarding Naturopaths in your area but for some reason the board is not accepting my messages.
Oh man, that is horrible that a doctor would say that! The arrogance is just astounding, they can't admit they just don't know. Of course there are more doctors, MDs and NDs, doing high dose ascorbic acid IV therapy. And, the current Kansas study is only accepting chemo-resistant OVCAs.

Steve Meress, MD Fond du Lac, WI does high dose

These NDs do nutritional level IVs:
Christine White, ND Missoula, MT
Hamilton Natural Health Clinic, Hamilton, MT

I wonder if MDs at CTCA do ascorbic acid.......

sweetpea, found some more leads for you/'newhopemedicalcenter.com' states they do alternative treatments but web site does not give locations of centers. phone 866-524-4673.also 'Grouppe Kurosawa Natural Medicines Blog'(.com?) states that their research indicates that an anticancer effect from oral vitamin c may be possible if you convert your vit c to dehydroascorbic acid form. this is done by dissolving some vit c in water then adding hydrogen peroxide slowly till the solution stops fizzing, then you drink it. type in 'how to make your own dehydroascorbic acid' when you find the site.saw a site for do it your self iv training so you can buy the equipment and vit c solutions and do it youself. found this googling 'intravenous vitamin c'infosponge

Sweetpea,Was wondering if your friend had found a place to get the iv vit c treatments and also mention another alternative I just found. It's called Essiac tea or Medicine Man tea. It's fairly inexpensive. There are several web sites you can find it at. Also saw an article about an Acai berry study at a Florida University where the berries killed up to 80% of lukemia cells in test tube studies. You can find Acai berry at WalMart's vitamin area for $8 plus tax out here on the west coast.Best wishes/ Infosponge
