Casey116 Mon, 02 Apr 2007 00:00:00 GMT Hello..I would say Peroxicam as well for the long run, but also with pepsid, but our SPECIALIST said a better stomach med that is better then pepsid is better, howvever Daisy just panted for all the time..so now she is not on either one.Now, she i on a small dosage of antibiotic which helps her urinate called trimethoprim.  even after 2 weeks we kept her onit..the vet says they become resistant to it, but then maybe ask your vet to put your dog on something different then go back to the trimethoprime.    The onlh symton DASY has is panting form time to time and long episodes of peeing...althing the antibiotic helped..  She is content, wags her tail, plays like a puppy and is happy.  The warning signs are no appetite and blood in their urine visible and just gives up.  DAISY was dianosed 4 months ago and is ok.  NOW..one important ting is wse hve her on cottage cheese in morning and night mixed with an algae based fish oil which is suppose to shrink the tumor..so far so good...make sure it is DHA based fish oil and have your doggie eat this 2,3,4 times a day.  Daisy lks forward to it.Oh and make sure his/her diet consists of NO CARBS like bread or bisquits..only wet food (no carrots that contain sugar) I boil chicken or turkey with chicken broth, ground veggies like broccoli/spinach/zuccini and maybe a little brown rice here and there o make sure she goes # 2.Talk to a vet holistic vet who can give you other ideas...but sont give up, keep your dog comfortable, but not in pain.  NO CHEMO..that is cruel. Good luck  Doodlebug Wed, 04 Apr 2007 00:00:00 GMT
