      <title>iliostomy</title>
      <description>Hello,&amp;nbsp; I just had surgery to remove my colon and now have an iliostomey.&amp;nbsp; This is reversable so I have my rectum intact I have 2 questions&amp;nbsp; I have been feeling like I need to have a bowel movement like a regular person would, is this a noremal felling I am 3 wks out from my suregery and has anyone had their iliostomy reversed and if you would not mind how did the surgery go as I am not sure at this point if I want to reverse this or not in 2 yrs.&amp;nbsp; Thank youGene Gehl</description>

Due to complications totally unrelated to the surgery itself I am not ready to have that reversal and not really sure if I will ever take the steps to have it done.&amp;nbsp; As for feeling the need to have a bowel movement, I still get them today.&amp;nbsp; If I have the time I head to the bathroom and go through the motions.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;It took awhile to relax when the&amp;nbsp;feeling&amp;nbsp;would come about while&amp;nbsp;outside the house but certainly appreciate the&amp;nbsp;pouch for that very reason these days!&amp;nbsp;Any other questions, dont hessitate to ask.&amp;nbsp;Kay&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;</description>
