diet

My mom is being treated for AML with Vidaza injections. Has anyone any experience with this drug? She is 89 and has been getting a transfusion about every 2-3 weeks since Jan. She is to receive eight daily injections. She has had three and is doing fine as far as any reactions. I was wondering if anyone knew of specific diet recomendations for AML. Sure would appreciate any insight.

RE: diet

I am not personally familiar with Vidaza but if you do a Google Search on that name there is lots of information available. As far as diet goes cutting out ALL sugar is probably one of the most important steps to take and stay away from the manufactured sugar substitutes such as Splenda etc. They can create problems of their own. Stevia is a natural sweetner that is recommended by alternative health care providers. That is what I use. If you are interested in the food protocol that I follow please send me a private message and i'll send you a copy.

Blessings to you and your Mom. I hope all goes well!
