leg circulation problem

I finished Chemo 1 yr ago for Ovarian Cancer. Removed an 11 lb tumor. Side effects of the whole thing were worse. Now, another effect. During surgery, they took out a couple dozen lymph nodes out of my abdomen to test for cancer. All clear there, but the lymph nodes have not "rechanneled" for my legs. And circulation in my legs is getting worse. Having much difficulty getting help from doctors, so I turn to you.My mom and dad both wear the compression socks. A vein blew out on my mom's leg 5 years ago. So, there's a family problem with this anyway.I found some socks in my drawer the other day and put them on. 15mmHg. Took them off each night. After 3 days, my leg swelling decreased. Swelling is up around the band at the top of the knee highs. However, last night, when I took them off, I was shocked at the incredible size of the veins on my ankle bones. HUGE and blue. Looked like they were going to burst! Woke up this morning and all veins have returned to normal size. Am afraid to wear the socks today, so my legs are now numb from mid thigh down and swelling has resumed.Do I need tighter compression socks so less fluid gets down to my feet? Last night, I noticed that the socks were a little baggier at my ankles than they usually were on other days. I called Jobst and they said I am suppose to launder them nightly so hopefully they will rebound and get tighter around the ankles. Maybe that will help? What type of doctor could I talk to that would know what I'm talking about on this stuff? thanks for any and all ideas.
