It is symmetrical and pretty much a uniform color, about 1/4". Recently it has been crumbling.... little pieces falling off. I am freaked out. I also have several lymph nodes on that side of my neck that seem to be slightly swollen (I can't feel any on the other side). I am seeing my Dr on Thurs. but am not sure if they will do anything about it at the appt. I am having trouble sleeping.Do you think the crumbling could be just a normal thing with moles? Thanks for any responses.  Ccccccc Tue, 17 Apr 2007 00:00:00 GMT No. Definitely have it checked out.  Mine did the same thing and I was just diagnosed with melanoma.  The scab just never healed.
