Help! Do i need to be worried?

HiI need some advice. I am very scared of seeing a doctor as I am scared they will tell me I might have cancer. I have had this small pea like lump under the skin on my neck, i have had it since i was about 12 i think...and every now and i then i remember i still have it. Recently, I have found a small lump, about the same size under my arm. None of these hurt, they feel rubbery and soft, move under the skin and very round. None of them seem to have grown at all, if anything shrink a little bit. I am 22 and i am generally a very healthy fit person, its very rare i get sick.Should I be worried I might have Lymphoma? Can anyone give me any advice?

I highly doubt its lymphoma. You should however see your doctor, you seem worried, and that is not the way to live life. Locations wise, it could be lymph nodes I guess, but they are not really directly under the skin, they are a bit deeper. Probably just some type of benign "not cancer" fatty tumor, like a lipoma. Go get them looked at, so you can sleep at night. It will be fineKim

Soccergirl,Do not be frightened. I am 68 years old and I had these little places on me but they went away on their own. Also never be afraid of what the Doctor will tell you. He can tell you nothing that you have not already faced in your fears.Plus would it not be wonderful to sing Praises when he tells you it is nothing.NancyOn 4/17/2007 Soccergirl wrote:HiI need some advice.
