Hi there. I am sorry to hear that your dog is suffering from the same disease as mine. Have you been to the vet yet re the black stool? Peroxicam can be tough on the intestines/stomach and kidneys. Mine is struggling with appetite too. She is not on peroxicam anymore as it caused elevations in her kidney numbers. This did not cause the appetite problem. She also has good and bad days. I really wish you well with everything. Did the vet give you six months from September or April? How advanced is the cancer and where is it located in the bladder?

Hi: I still have her on peroxicam, because without it she has problems.I was giving her 1 pill a day but have incresed to 2 per day.She could hardly stand when I was only giving her 1 pill. She is starting to vomit almost on a daily basis. She has lost 15lbs in 1 year.I haven't taken her back to the Vet because she gets so nervous and it takes alot out of her.I'm starting to feed her whatever she wants, turkey, chicken, roast beef. What ever I can to get her to eat. Thanks for your email I really appreciate it.Take care. Nancy
