I went to a docter about 7 months ago when I noticed a pea sized lump on my right lower jaw. It dosnt stick out but if u feel it it moves around. The docter told me theat it was probably just a lymthnode* infection and gave me pills to take for a month... they did nothing. 2 days ago I felt it and It felt larger so I returned to the docter. She said she could not Identify it and told me It could be alot of things(she didnt say anything specific) and told me to go to an EMT I have an appointment later this week and am worrying myself crazy!! I am only 13 and I wont be able to focuss on anything unless someone tells me what they think it could be( I have no symptems but jaw pain sometimes) PLEASE help Destinee Sat, 21 Apr 2007 00:00:00 GMT My husband has these also and he's had 2 of them for more than 15 years and he gets the same answers but they have not grown or anything.  He does have some jaw pain sometimes too but its not in the same area, his jaw pops.  Anyway, I think you will sleep easier by getting it checked out but just wanted to let you know that my hubby has had this for years also. Mel  Bmxspeedqueen Sun, 22 Apr 2007 00:00:00 GMT Please let us know what the doctor finds out.  It is very scary not to know what is going on.  All best wishes,Susan Susanandjeff Thu, 24 May 2007 00:00:00 GMT Have you had any more information regarding this from your doctor/ENT?I have done some research and from what I have read if the swelling is under 1CM in diameter then you're safe otherwise go to the doc and have it checked out.I have something similar and am going to get it checked out next week. medla Fri, 07 Sep 2007 00:00:00 GMT Im accually 12 but i have these lumps on my jaw... There is one on the left side which is about the size of a big pea cut in half. It is moveable up and down and about half a centremetre to the left/right. The second one is on the left and is smaller, about the size of a small pea cut in half. It is also moveable up and down and about half a centremetre left/right. There is also a small one inside my mouth on the right side and another one inside my mouth on the left side though a bit smaller. Also i found two half a pea sized lumps on my neck. Though none of them seem to cause me any pain so far im not sure what they are. Im going to the doctors on saturday 12th of October 2007. Im really worried can someone help me please! worried_silly Fri, 12 Oct 2007 00:00:00 GMT
