Naturopathy and Ovarian Cancer

I am a student at the University of California, Davis,
and I'm writing a research paper about the use of
naturopathic medicine for the prevention and
treatment of ovarian cancer.

If anyone would be interested in sharing their
experiences/thoughts with me about their use of
complementary medicine for cancer (any type of CAM
and any type of cancer is fine) I would greatly
appreciate it. It would be nice to have a personal
viewpoint rather than something out of a book, so
anything anyone would like to share would be a big
help. Thanks!

Naturopathy & Ovarian Cancer

Hi Cherie,
I was originally diagnosed with ovarian cancer, stage 3c, 3 years ago. I had surgery and 6 rounds of chemo. Throughout the process, I was using alternative remedies as well as traditional western medical treatment. I consulted with a ND at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America, and also with an acupuncturist who is an expert in cancer treatment.
