Is Nexavar working?

My friend has been on Nexavar for advanced liver cancer for 4 weeks
and is showing earily signs of srinkage, and reduction of fluid
production. Can I get feed back on people that have been on
Nexavar for at least 6 months for advanced liver cancer? There
was a 602 person test group in the liver trails that was stopped earily
in Feb 2007, because of the great results. How are you
doing? Is Nexavar stopping the spread? Is it killing the
cancer? Or is the cancar coming back? Is everyone in this group
still alive?

hi.i just want to share my experience. Dad diagnosed with liver cancer oct 2006. treated in UCLA for chemo embolization. went home to Philippines then he had all complications. he was started on nexavar 200mg a day and was on it for just 10 days because he was started on it too late. but they said nexavar is a very promising drug for advance stage liver ca. so i think it really depends on the patients response to it. I lost my dad last april 25 and it was such a battle for him and our family. good luck, keep the faith and god bless
