Skin-basal Cell Carcinoma, New Treatments?

Mom is 93 & has advanced senile dementia. BCC has been excised from nose repeatedly, keeps recurring; now it's too deep ("thru" into nasal passage). All concerned feel, given the dementia, that plastic surgery is not an option. Anyone have any experience with photodynamic Tx, creams, medications? Hibiscus 6/11/04

Take a Look

A good friend of my mother was also diagnosed with BCC (Basal Cell Carcinoma) on the tip of her nose for 12 months, before she started applying Curaderm a skin cancer cream to the BCC and eventually after 13 weeks of treatment the BCC was gone for good and there was no recurrence of BCC. How lucky she was as she doesn't go through any surgery. So you could try this out for your mom as well if she is welling to try it , and if it does work for my mom's friend then it would surely work for your mother as well.
