I am currently involved as a caregiver as my sister undergoes oral cancer (tongue) with lymph tumor involvement at the above cancer treatment center. The treatment was started about 5 weeks ago.We have already seen a substantial decrease in the tumor under the neck and are hopeful for more positive signs of cancer reduction. 2nd Chemo therapy was 2 days ago with an overall anticipated course of treatment being 4-5 months.I would appreciate hearing from anyone who may have had experience with this treatment center, especially if their experience related to oral cancer.Thank you, Charlie

I know of several people who have used this place. It breaks down like this, some it helps some it does not. It is very expensive and comes out of your own pocket. I looked at this place when diagnosed but decided it was not for me. There are many alternative treatments available. www.cancercenter.com Google Dr Forsythe Reno NV, and many more. Look at all the options. I chose 98% natural medicine but I had a medical background and knew a lot of people in the natural field and the regular medical field. Depends also on the type of cancer. Certain cancers the clinic has had some success with others not much. You would have to ask them directly the rate of success for your type of cancer. So it is just a personal decision. Take care and all the best. mms On 5/5/2007 Charlie2 wrote:I am currently involved as a caregiver as my sister undergoes oral cancer (tongue) with lymph tumor involvement at the above cancer treatment center.

Can you let me know what is the benefit with seeing Dr. Forsythe in Reno. I live in Reno and was actually checking in to the Burzynski Clinic for my dad who was just diagnosed with Lung and Brain Cancer. He is having his PET scan as we speak with Dr. Kelly in Carson City. Any helpful information would be great. Thank you.On 3/19/2008 mmsurvivor wrote: I know of several people who have used this place.
