Anyone else with this horrible thing? Lynette Lynetteb Fri, 25 Jun 2004 00:00:00 GMT I know I am replying to an old message, I hope everything is okay...my Mom has liver cancer, diagnosed on May 1, 2005...she has developed shingles on her face---forhead, and around her eye...went to an eyedoctor who gave her tobradex and told us to watch her carefully to make sure it doesn't wind up in her eye...she can't take oral medicine as it would compromise her liver...the Tobradex seems to be working on healing the blisters rather quickly, but she is in some pain from the awful things...we were told it has to take its course, about three weeks...hope this helps...how is the patient?
