Cirrhosis of the Liver/Liver cancer

My ex-husband was just diagnosied with cirrhosis of the liver/liver cancer. He has not shared much info with me because he does not want me to worry. He did tell me he is going in the hospital to have his tennis ball sized tumor shrunk. I am not for sure how they do that. I am thinking maybe with chemo or radiation. If someone has information or knows, please let me know
