      <title>can someone explain tumor markers</title>
      <description>My husband was recently diagnosed with cholangiocarcinom, bile duct with a large tumor on the liver, and another lesion.&amp;nbsp; I have copies of the blood tests but dont know how to read them.&amp;nbsp; What are tumor markers and what numbers are good, bad etc.&amp;nbsp; Thanks&amp;nbsp;</description>

I received a whipple. tough surgery &amp;amp; recovery, they removed 9.5 inches of small intestine,&amp;nbsp;gall bladder &amp;amp; the head of my pancreas. Every 3 month I have blood test one of the test is&amp;nbsp;a c-19-9. should be around 30-35. mine is 40-55 little high. Doctor said she will watch for now. I ask what is a bad # she said 100-1000+I</description>
