      <title>Interferon Treatment (Melanoma IIIb)</title>
      <description>My son (15 years old), diagnosed with Stage IIIb Melanoma April 2007 and&amp;nbsp;is just finishing the 20 infusion Interferon treatments and starts next week the 11 months, Interferon injections.Does anyone know of a teenager who has gone through this?Thanks for any information you can provide...crmom</description>

      <description>My son was a little older he was 26.&amp;nbsp; Younger people can handle it better than older individuals.&amp;nbsp; I assume he will give himself the injections?&amp;nbsp; Watch out for taste, as you will have an aluminum taste.&amp;nbsp; My son put a lot of spicy seasonings on food to help.&amp;nbsp; Peppermint patties also helped, and you can by at a speciality drug store toothpaste to help.&amp;nbsp;What area&amp;nbsp;did you son&amp;#39;s melanoma first appear?</description>
