Maintaining Alkaline ph For Cancer Prevention

I am a 3 year breast cancer survivor. I went through convential methods, surgery, chemo, radiation after being diagnosed with Stage 2a breast cancer. I have recently been researching preventatives so that I may minimize my risk of a reoccurance and try to eliminate the side affects of my treatment. One area that is consistently coming up and makes good common sense is maintaining a balanced (slightly alkaline) PH. A woman in my survivors group was diagnosed with a Stage 4 reoccurance. She went to Hippocrates Wellness Center in West Palm Beach for treatment, mainly diet, and is now in remission. A fellow patient with MS was remarkedly improved after his stay. Tapes by Dr. Lorraine Day, an MD who chose treatment through diet rather than western medicine, is a survivor. Diet is very strict, green and sprouted foods mainly. Coral Calcium by Natures way had helped me get Alkaline. I highly recommend looking into this. Search for PH and alkaline PH. Some conflicting info. on diet, stay away from Apple cider vinegar and dairy as some sites recommend, as they are so acidic, they make your body alkaline by leaching calcium out of your bones. Most other recommendations good. Good luck and love and appreciate each day

Dear Sheri T:
I have read that apple cider vinegar is good, (not bad) for cancer patients. If you have info to the contrary, would you please send it to me. I am sending you a website that says the opposite:
http:members.tripod.com/Howtuz/cidervinegar.html)Please read it and let me know what you think. If you have any problems in getting to this website, let me know and I will send it to you in another email.

Apple Cider Vinegar and ph

Hello Francis:
I have been to have a "live blood test" which is fascinating if you ever get the chance to have one. The person who gave me this test, markets Innerlight products for Alkalinity and he is very knowledgeable about alternative medicine. He told me that Apple Cider Vinegar will make you alkaline, however, not in a constructive way. He said that when you take it, that it is such an acidic shock to your body that calcium is leached out of your bones, in an overreactive manner in order to alkalize the acid shock to your body, that the Apple cider vinegar causes. He said that Dairy is the same way, as it is Lactic Acid. There are more constructive ways to become alkaline that do not effect your bones. Following, are a couple of pretty interesting websites.
I have recently started to become more alkaline by taking Nature's Way Coral Calcium. I take 2 or 3 scattered throughout the day and then 3 at night when I go to bed. You can order it from Natures Way online or buy it at Vitamin Cottage. Other health food stores may have it as well. I had tried other brands but Natures Way is the only one that works for me
I also take PH Balance one pill 3 times a day.
I spit on a piece of the PH test strips and also pee on one first thing in the morning. The strips I like come in a roll and are by Enzymedica. You can also get these at Vitamin Cottage and online. If you buy PH Balance, they have some in the bottle.
I do believe that the Natures Way Coral Calcium (http://www.naturesway.com) has made the biggest difference as I had taken other brands of Coral Calcium without good results. I do believe that Brand makes a big difference. cts,(http://www.innerlightinc.com) which I may start again after I am finished with the Purity Vitamins and greens that I have ordered. I will always continue to take the Natures Way Coral Calcium regardless of what vitamin program I settle on.

The website that I spoke of that had a very good explanation about PH is:

http://home.bluegrass.net/~carrie73/coral_calcium.htm
it does specifically address cancer. Let me know if you have any trouble accessing it.
 Another one is http://www.essence-of-life.com

Also of note, Dr.Lorraine Day, cured herself of advanced breast cancer. She follows a very strict diet, and prays quite a bit. I have some of her videos that I purchased. She is a Doctor, but refused chemo and radiation and cured herself through diet, faith, moderate exercise, sunshine, drinking a lot of water. She has been on Oprah, Larry King and has an info-mercial. She does not talk about alkalinity specifically, however, the diet she follows is an alkaline diet. Very interesting stuff.

Dr. Lorraine Days website is: http://www.drday.com
I unfortunatly got some bad news on my PET scan yesterday. I am going in for MRI's tomorrow to investigate 2 areas that showed up as "hot spots" If this goes south on me I will probably go to the wellness center "Optimum Health" in Austin or "Hippocrates" in West Palm beach, as they have helped a girl in my support group that was diagnosed with a Stage 4 reoccurance.
I hope that you have a healthy and happy Holiday Season.
Take care

Thanks For Resources

I will certainly check out the place in Austin.
I have heard of the ph balance diets and have it saved on my pc and refer to it often. I imagine it is Dr. Day. but would love to have the entire resource. Since no one seems too worried about diagnosing me, I might as well visit this place in the meantime. I work in Austin nearly every week.

Cellular ph Elevation:!!!!!!

To all: Since the early 1950's, cancer researchers have KNOWN that cancer cells cannot live in an alkaline environment!(Nor in an oxygen-rich environment!!) As for Coral Calciums, there are always bogus products in circulation:a 64-yr-old friend had taken 6K/day for 6 years, as his femoral "heads" dissolved! However, in only 2 weeks of IPRIFLAVONE therapy, the surfeit of calcium-complex in various parts of his body coalesced via the ipriflavone, and he said, as he RAN to greet me @ church, "That stuff works! I can FEEL my bones growing!" Now, I would not use other forms of vinegar internally, and cider for only the removal of kidney calcifictions: 1 tsp in a 1/2-glass of water, 3x/day, & for no more than 2 weeks at the most!
Mineralization is good, but use amino-acid chelates! Cesium Chloride is faster/stronger, & will raise the pH to 7.4 & better! The greatest error I see is those in stage IV trying a stage III therapeutic(or the like). We
must always do all we can to reverse the conditions, so the cells-gone-crazy either recover, or die!Sincerely,MLM.ND

Safe Way to Increase Body ph

Hi I have been helping a friend of mine to with Hotchkins increase his pH. When we checked his pH it was found to be very acidic.
In my search to help him I found Kangen water.
It is a device that hooks upto your kitchen faucet. It produces what is called Kangen water and can be set with the touch of a button to a pH of 7.4, 8.5, 9.0 or 9.5. It also ionizes the water, producing a negative ORP (oxidation reduction potential)- meaning it is an antoxidant. By producing ionized and alkaline water, you are getting the water requirements that you need while alkalizing the body and drinking water with an antioxidizing effect. I think that this is a very important step in assisting the body to correct itself. You can find more information on Kangen water at
www.kangenwaterreport.com I hope that you find this information helpful. If anyone else has heard of Kangen water and its uses, have you had any luck with it?

Apple Cider Vinegar Misunderstanding

ACV is an acid in its purest form, but when digested creates a highly alkalitic ash that can be used to neutralize or weaken harmful acidic ashes created by digestion of things like dairy, meats, cocoa, sugar, etc. It's also very beneficial for bone and tissue health, for it contains MANY nutrients and bountiful amounts of minerals that are considered by modern medicine to be "trace minerals" in most foods.

Unless you tear your leg open and pour ACV on the bone, I very highly doubt you'll be doing any damage to your bone structure. The acid is neutralized by the body's bicarbonate stores and then digested. If it's leaking into your knees, you have more serious problems than just pH distortion. : )

BTW: ACV contains such things as calcium NATURALLY. It has calcium in it far before it even makes contact with the human body. In very EXTREME cases of Acidosis of the body (unisolated cases; not just the blood stream, urine, etc), acidic ash content may be neutralized by the extra calcium stores of the body. If you don't have these stores and are overtly malnutritive, calcium will be taken from your bones to neutralize certain acids. Do keep in mind, however, that many, many other alkalitic nutrients are used as a neutralizer (acid weakener) before the calcium in your bones.

Dairy: >>Generally<< bad for you.

Apple Cider Vinegar: One of the most beneficial and cheapest REAL medicines a person can buy that isn't a drug.

Funny that you mention Hippocrates, though. He's historical proof that good nutrition and intelligent nutritional supplementation can solve a great deal of problems. In my person opinion, if you're eating correctly, getting enough sleep (at the right times), getting enough sunlight, and have (at least) reasonably light habitual sanitation practices... You will not have problems with 'disease'.

I do wish you all great luck with whatever troubles you, and for those giving support, make sure to research the subject of your post thoroughly in order to minimize probability of error. : )

Love, light, peace;

Note

Note: Your body WILL NOT use calcium "leeched from your bones" to neutralize the lactic, malic, acetic, and propionic acids that are present in ACV until all other alkalitic substances that CAN be spared are used up. With constant use, it is possible that this could happen, but in most people I would expect that a healthy, balanced diet would protect against any extreme use of those stores of calcium present in the bones.

If you're worried about it, simple dilute the vinegar MORE (It's sold at 5% acidity, normally, because it has been watered down so much already.) or you can add pure Sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) slowly until it fits your taste a bit better. This will weaken the acids, but the only chemical change that will take place is the alteration of Malic acid. The malic acid will become Malate, but the body would have changed it to this eventually, anyway.

It seems to me that medical doctors these days know only how to misdiagnose, prescribe drugs, and cut things up. I would advise all of you to find someone who has studied real medicine for longer than an hour. : ) If you live inside of the United States, I seriously doubt you'll find this type of medical support. There are online sources of information out there that have professionals who are better at diagnosing from a distance than some 'doctors' in the United States are...even when said 'doctors' have some of the most expensive equipment known to the medical community.

Love, Light, Peace;

Hi i took my wife to Dr Morter 13 years ago. He is in Rogers, Arkansas USA. he was one of the few that was trying to get people to "alkalise"I have only just got back to alkalising, with "innerlight" in the UK.There is so much talk about Testing for pH, and a lot of misconceptions. The only ph testing Kit i would use is from Dr Morter's clinic. You have to follow certain instrucions for a propper diagnosis. It comes complete with instructions. for urine and saliva. You can't just spit on the Litmus paper.I also got his book "Correlative Urinalysis".he is a wonderfull person.please look him up, you won't regret it.Wishing you a happy Xmas and good health in the new year.andy --Message edited by CancerCompass staff.
