I had 2 bumps in my neck, needle biopsy positive for melanoma, neck dissection, 4 out of 11 lymph nodes positive. No sign of a primary tumor. I just had my first radiation treatment today. Other than the mask that strapped me to the table for 35 minutes there was no pain. Tonight, the right side of my neck is swollen with slight pain in my ear and jaw. I have 5 more then 12 months of interferon. Anyone out there with a similiar situation. Any idea of survival rates, What to look forward to???? Thanks,Jess Cornhusker Thu, 14 Jun 2007 00:00:00 GMT
