Newly Diagnosed, Right Clavicle and Some Ribs

I thought I had a torn rotator cuff on 10/29/04. After xray, bone scan, ct scan of the skull abd. and pelvis and other tests, my doctor diagnosed Multiple Myeloma. The lesions are in the right mid-distal portion of my clavicle. Also in one left rib, and three right ribs. I am an R.N. and worked until the pain in my ribs and right shoulder became too painful. Is it necessary for me to take it easy as not to fracture any more of my bones? This is a cancer type I am unfamiliar with. But I have been on the WEB doing lots of research. I would really appreciate any information and support you could give me.

God bless and keep you,
