low potassium

My Aunt has survived the treatment of Chemo & is in remission from her cancer. She is now experiencing a low potassium that only stays up for a day or so and she repeatedly needs infusions. She is exhausted, nauseated and very weak. Her will is suffering. Does anyone have any experience with this after chemo? The heart & kidney Doctor's say her tests are normal. Thanks.
