I have tonsil cancer

anybody out there who would like to share please write back. I have had 19 radiation treatments and have 11 to go. Things are tough right now. They want me to go on the feeding tube but I am resisting. Think I can get the correct amount of fluids w/o the tube. My cancer did go down to the right Lymph gland hence the head and neck radiation. I am sweating an awful lot...did anybody experiece that? I would emphsize proper pain management. Things have been better since I settled in on the Fetenol patch and Hydrocoden for breakthrough pain. MDA has been great though it seemsd they tend to push certain treatments. For example I have had 4 fluid IV's in six days..that seems overboard. I found out just how much fluids and calories I needed and will not take any more IV's unless I know absolutely that I need them. Anyway, thats enough for now. I'll write back if I hear from anybody Joe
