My Dog has TCC and is constipated

Our dog Cooper was diagnosed with TCC about 10 weeks ago. He has been on Piroxicam and while his ultrasound showed that the tumor in his bladder has not grown, he recently showed signs of injury to his neck. We took him to a specialist and she did an MRI. Turns out the tumor metastasized and is now in his spine. He's now on all of these pain killers. This includes 2 tabs/4X per day of Tramadol, 1 tab/ 3X per day of Methocarbamol and 2 tabs/3X per day of Gabapentin and of course 1 piroxicam per day. He seems to have constipation today and every half hour he's wanting to go outside to poop. But nothing is coming out. He did have stool yesterday but just not today. Not sure if we're getting paranoid but we're hoping the tumor hasn't grown larger so as to block his poop. We called an emergency vet, and they said it could be anything - constipation? Could be that Cooper is trying to push out the tumor which he thinks is poop. Ugh! So just hoping he has some stool tomorrow.

HI- Ask a second opinion, but I thought my dog had constipation, so I called a retired vet and he said Metamucil. He said if it didn't work, then there may be a blockage in the rectum area. LUCKILY "Daisy's" problem went away. We didn't give her metamucil though soit was a false alarm that she had a constipation problem. ALSO, Daisy is on "Expecta" all natural DHA oil. 60 lbs (400 mg each morning and 2 at night- this is anti-cancer. We decided no on perixicam and Daisy was diagnosed in Dec..Amazing !! Not in pain either and has an appetite. Spinich mixed in with white chicken breast with Innova Wet dog food is all we are doing. PLUS flaxiol 1 tablesppon with 1/4 cup cottage cheese each mornig and at night !! Good luck !! All the best..
