Biopsy done...now the waiting begins...

Hello...I am new to this board. My story began about 2 months ago. I was visiting my OBGYN and he stated that I had a mole on my buttocks (in only a place that the OBGYN can see unfortunately) that I should get checked. I never had any DR mention that I had a mole before so I took a look and it was a mis-shapen very dark mole. I finally went to the Dermatologist on Friday and she said that it was .5 in size and that she needed to biopsy it. I have a VERY strong history with skin cancers (my maternal grandma had a melanoma in her urinary tract and my mother had both basal and squamous cell carcinomas). Well, the Dermatologist performed a shave biopsy and said I should know in a week to 10 days... After looking at pics and reading informaiton on the net, I am really kind of nervous now. I have read that it is very unusual for "normal moles" to appear in the place where mine was". Does anyone know if that is true or not? I know I just need to relax and wait for the biopsy results but after reading all of this stuff, I am sort of nervous.
